BetterZip is a multiformat compressor and decompressor, compatible with most formats, offering unique features such as password manager for encrypted files, file encryption with AES-256 algorithm and editing files without extracting them .

With the password manager BetterZip you can open password protected from a master key files. BetterZip will search the appropriate password. Furthermore, BetterZip generates its own files compressed using the AES-256 algorithm.

Integration with other applications
– The new Finder extension puts all your presets in the Finder toolbar. Select some files in Finder, click the BetterZip button and choose one of the presets drop – down menu to create a file with these files. Of course, you can also invoke any of its predefined extraction settings selected files.
